Prior to starting MBM, McInerney had been one of the five original founding executives of a leading startup billboard company, Independent Outdoor Advertising (IOA) in Los Angeles. IOA developed into one of the fastest growing and largest outdoor advertising agencies in the United States, eventually selling to a New York media conglomerate.

Brian and Elizabeth McInerney split their time between homes in Newport Beach, California and private Hickory Island, Michigan.

While in IOA, McInerney held position of IOA Senior Vice President & General Manager and was responsible for all daily corporate operations. He developed strategic planning, oversaw the companies real estate leasing and construction, managed all government relations, and eight corporate divisions with 200 administrative employees.

Due to his respected reputation and the high level contacts McInerney had earned at IOA, both in industry and government, he immediately became a highly sought after business development, and contract negotiations consultant.

Brian William McInerney is the proud father of two daughters and a son, all well versed in the art of sports and entertainment.
